St. Louis Public School District Superintendent Kelvin Adams said the board has been looking at data for the past two years on enrollment, building usage, and how to create the best. However, that talent and those resources become less effective when they are stretched over 68 buildings, some of which have fewer than 200 students. While outside the scope of City government, there is another strategy that I think those of us in City government must be willing to put our support behind expanding Special School District (SSD) into St. Louis City.
